Chenyang "Chad" Xu is a dedicated student at the University of California, Davis, pursuing a B.S. in Molecular and Medical Microbiology. He was born and raised in China and had his high school in the Bay Area. He has contributed to the field of oncology during his internship at UC Davis Health, where he supported patient care for those undergoing cancer treatment. Additionally, Chad gained research experience at the Chinese Academy of Science, Suzhou Institute of Material Medical, assisting with lab experiments, conducting Elisa tests, and managing animal models. Chad's long-term goal is to pursue a PhD or MD in immunology or pathology, fields that align with his passion for molecular biology, with the ultimate goal of developing an affordable method to treat cancer. Alongside his academic pursuits, he enjoys photography, playing chess, and working out.
