Postdoctoral training positions are available for a qualified candidate.
The qualified candidate is a highly motivated and creative individual who is a recent graduate or someone with substantial experience in tumor biology and genetics, especially with respect to high-throughput functional genomics and therapeutics screens. The candidate will be expected to contribute to ongoing research activities in ovarian cancer by developing new projects and assays for immunogenic cell death and new therapeutic development using proteolysis-targeting chimera (PROTAC) compounds. A formal training in E3 ligase biology, cancer signal transduction, cancer immunology, or in experimental therapeutics is preferred.
The successful candidate is expected to demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication and effective scientific presentation skill. The candidate is expected to contribute to various projects outside of his/her own area of expertise and collaborate with other lab members and outside collaborators. The candidate will demonstrate up-to-date knowledge in the field of cancer genomics or immunology, and act as an expert resource in this area and in related disciplines.
Qualification Required
A Ph.D. degree in cancer biology, genetics, genomics, or immune-oncology
A proven record of productivity in the field of cancer biology, genetics, genomics, or immune-oncology
Excellent molecular and cell biology skills, experimental planning and execution, and experience with computational biology
Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to cooperate with various levels of colleagues
The ability to supervise and train junior colleagues
